What is Castra?

Castra is an army builder and community tool for historical tabletop wargaming.

We are a group of friends, gamers, history buffs, and miniature painters who love the hobby for its stories, scenarios, shared tables, and communities. Historical settings are where we feel most at home, especially in friendly, narrative-driven games.

Many historical game systems still have little or no dedicated army builder support. Pencil and paper work just fine, but we wanted to build something more convenient — and, over time, something more powerful.

Castra starts with army lists, but our goal goes further: tools for gaming groups, leagues, events, and campaigns, with assisted campaign management planned for the future.

We are building the tool we wanted for our own hobby, and we hope it becomes useful for yours too.
